Vegetables in the snow

Sarah Eno writes “Here are a couple of photos of vegetables in the snow. The first one with little leaves poking up is the garlic Andy planted in October – it had grown about 4cm by December. The leaves seem to be fine despite the snow and exposure to frost.
The other photo is my Green in Snow plants (sown Sept outside) which provide a few winter-proof leaves for salad. They seem to grow, albeit slowly, despite low temperatures.
The small Pak Choi plants are also standing this cold spell well and again the odd leaf for salad is very welcome.
