Wild flower and bumble bee meadows
June 30 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
A return visit to Moira Land’s wildflower and bumblebee meadows.
‘ The original meadow will now be 12 years since I planted it . One of the other fields was seeded on the top and is completely different , two years ago it had hundred of orchids but that can vary from year to year , It will depend on the season what will be in flower and we will just have to take a chance . Meadows change from year to year . I will delighted to give you tea and coffee after the walk and it is also an opportunity to talk about meadows .’
Moira will walk us round the meadows and tell us about how she has developed and maintained her meadows.
Directions to our events
Many of BOG's events are held at members' own houses and gardens and we are a little cautious about making that information too public.
Directions for members:
You can find directions to each of our Events in the BOG magazine and in the e-news letter sent out regularly by email.
Directions for non-members
Not a member yet? We'd be delighted to see you at our events and perhaps persuade you of the benefits of joining us as well. Please get in touch with us first using the contact details on the BOG Contact page
Notifying visit hosts and workshop organisers
Following feedback, we felt it would be useful for the volunteers hosting garden visits and workshops to have an idea of how many people might be coming. So, please contact the host in the week before the event if you are planning to attend.
E-mail is usually the best way to do this. If you don't have e-mail please phone. We will try to make sure contact details are provided in each event listing in the BOG magazine, and in the e-news updates sent by email.
Also, don't feel you can't go if you haven't been in touch and don't worry if your plans change on the day.
