Garden visits and tea by the Tweed
June 17 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The plan will be to park in Norham village, probably around the green going towards the church, then to walk down to Liz and Jim Camerons’ house. This visit is to see what they have done to their garden since they stopped keeping hens.
Then we will walk down to look at the development of Liz and John Towners’ herb garden and to look at the tree planting they have done in the paddock.
This will be where we will have tea, so if people will bring their cakes to the Cameron’s house and then we can take them to Fulbeck from there.
2-5p.m. will be enough time to look at these two gardens.
Directions to our events
Many of BOG's events are held at members' own houses and gardens and we are a little cautious about making that information too public.
Directions for members:
You can find directions to each of our Events in the BOG magazine and in the e-news letter sent out regularly by email.
Directions for non-members
Not a member yet? We'd be delighted to see you at our events and perhaps persuade you of the benefits of joining us as well. Please get in touch with us first using the contact details on the BOG Contact page
Notifying visit hosts and workshop organisers
Following feedback, we felt it would be useful for the volunteers hosting garden visits and workshops to have an idea of how many people might be coming. So, please contact the host in the week before the event if you are planning to attend.
E-mail is usually the best way to do this. If you don't have e-mail please phone. We will try to make sure contact details are provided in each event listing in the BOG magazine, and in the e-news updates sent by email.
Also, don't feel you can't go if you haven't been in touch and don't worry if your plans change on the day.
